The McKenzie River has long been known

HIKING:
Endless hiking options await you from
Inn at the Bridge. Following are links to some of the more popular
trails.
SKIING & SNOWSHOEING:
HooDoo Ski Area
offers a new lodge, state of the art chair lifts, night skiing, groomed
or powder alpine runs and beginning to advanced nordic trails. Not
a skier? Try their Autobahn Tube Hill. Ray Benson Sno-Park features
a variety of nordic trails. Throughout the area are ample opportunities
for snowshoeing.

HOT SPRINGS:
A good place to soak after a day
of activity, the mineral pools at Belknap are a five minue drive
from Inn at the Bridge and are open all year. For a more rustic experience,
take a short walk into Terwilliger Hot Springs.

SCENIC DRIVES:
Aufderheide Memorial Drive - Part of the West Cascades National
Scenic Byway, the Aufderheide Memorial Drive winds through old growth
forests, passes mountain lakes and follows both the McKenzie and
Willamette Rivers. Many excellent hiking trails start from the two
lane paved road. It also accesses the Terwilliger Hot Springs and
the Westfir covered bridge. Mile-by-mile directional and interpretive
CDs are available to borrow at the USFS McKenzie River Station for
this drive.
McKenzie Pass - Santiam Pass Scenic Byway - Some of Oregon's
most beautiful scenery can be seen from this 82 mile loop.
You will travel through lava flows, past waterfalls and lakes and
have outstanding views of the snow covered peaks of the Cascade
Mountains. Other highlights include the Dee Wright Observatory, Lava
River Interpretive Trail, Proxy Falls, the Wild & Scenic McKenzie
River, Sahalie & Koosah Falls, Clear Lake and Suttle Lake. The
loop travels on Oregon Routes 126 and 242. Route 242 is closed in
the winter months.
COVERED BRIDGES:
Covered
Bridges - Home to 20 covered bridges, Lane
County has more covered bridges than any other county west of
the Mississippi. Two of these bridges are within easy driving
distance of Inn at the Bridge.
Goodpasture Covered Bridge - Built in 1938 and one of the
most beautiful covered bridges in Oregon.
Belknap Covered Bridge - Covered bridges have occupied this
site since 1890.
HORSEBACK RIDING:

Inn at the Bridge, offering lessons and trail rides.
UNITED STATES BASKETBALL ACADEMY:
USBA: An international leader
in training basketball coaches and players, this distinguished facility
has trained hundreds of athletes.
